Nilla Wafers by:  Levin MacIvor-Andersen She sits there, rocking back and forth, back and forth.  the window open to let in the breeze. I sit on her lap  as she shows me photo after photo, each with a story to tell. Whether it' s about an old friend, a place she lived, or an experience,  I sit entranced by the history of her life, partially captured  in these multitudes of photos. all while eating Nilla Wafer cookies, the crumbs covering my lap, my face, and my fingers. I sit still and listen, my eyes closed, imagining these scenes.
